Holiest of the Holies

We are making plans to go to Varanasi on Sunday to stay there upto a week or add another stop before returning to Delhi to wait for Esin. Today is Dusshera, the holiday which commemorates the killing of the demon Ravana by Durga and is celebrated by offering liquor up to the goddess and burning huge effigies of the demon.

?if you could answer any question what would it be?

dearest friends
i totally forgot that to get to this blog, i do not need an invitation via email, so please forgive me for neglecting your orgy of words! I must say, that I almost feel as if i am with you. Almost.
thanks to both of your talents in the english language i can say that i have thouroughly enjoyed your discourse. i believe you are both blessed. in many ways.... if you by chance, happen by a movie theater, try to view "what the !@#$ de We Know" wonderful, just wonderful movie. all about quantum physics, religion, emotions, cells, the universe and so on. anyway it it too hard to explain, but so worth trying to, over a couple beers. Damn! i can't do that!! anyway. time is slow going and fast going and i am soon delving into the unknown, as usual. i miss you. ingie, i wish i could come over and have raspberry iced tea. apart from my tearful yearings for my jolly companions, i am enjoying the fall landscape of yellows, oranges, and reds. the roadkill is abundant, and it has rained for a week straight. i purchased materials for more painting to commence, but have yet to see that happen. okay. i have just erased and written and erased five lines, so instead of trying to write what i cannot, i will bid adieu. i thank you for your blog. it is wonderful to know that you are both safe and still fully functional!! I love you both, and wish you the best for your next trip, so you can recount an exceptional story, that we will all forever hold dear, and tell our children when they are old enough to handle the details........ha! bisous et a bientot!
Cheers
Marie
